I was 15 years old when I started my first business. In 1987 I founded Methodus Sistemas, a software development company. In the following years I was the founder of PortalFinanceiro.com, MTDS, SGPS, eMethodus, forumB2B.com, Selplus and FundManager Lda. In 2010 I was the founder of ActionFlow.com and was the first Portuguese invited to pitch at DEMO in Silicon Valley, California. In 2012 I founded Fábrica de Startups and I’m currently the President and CEO of this startup accelerator. I have a degree in Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a MBA from the Carlson School of Management and have participated in several management courses including at HEC, London Business School, Babson College and Harvard Business School.
Stephan Morais is the founder and Managing General Partner of Indico Capital Partners , a leading venture capital firm based Portugal. With a diversified background as an investment banker, consultant, entrepreneur and CEO, he has lived in 8 countries and 4 continents over the last 24 years. Appointed as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010, and Member of their Digital Leaders of Europe Community, he holds a degree in Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon), and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. He is a YPO (Young Presidents Organization) Member.
Anas El Arras, of Moroccan origin, is an entrepreneur, investor, and executive with extensive international experience, and is recognized as an emblematic personality bestowed with the Ouissame Alaouit Order by the King of Morocco, as a result of his aerospace research work in South Korea. He has also been to Qatar and Indonesia and was appointed CEO of the German company V-LINE, where he made an investment of almost USD 10 million in the Middle East. He is currently the Founder and CEO of GrowIN Portugal and the CEO of the Algarve Tech Hub. Furthermore, Anas is also the Co-Founder & CEO of GrowIN Fly, which was launched in 2020, has surpassed 10 Million EUR in revenue in 2021, becoming the fastest growing startup in the south of Portugal.
Fabiana Clemente, CDO Fabiana is a Data Scientist with a background that ranges from Business Intelligence to Big Data Development and IoT architecture. Throughout her professional career, she has been leading state of the art projects not only in global companies but also in startups. Has an academic background in Applied Maths and MSc in Data Management combined with nano degrees in Deep Learning and Secure and Private AI. As YDatas Co-Founder, she combines Data Privacy with Deep Learning as her main fields of work and research, with the mission to unlock data with privacy by design.
Ricardo Andorinho was born in vora, Portugal. He majored in Handball, a popular sport in Europe with 155 international matches. While playing, he was studying finance, innovation and business performance at the highest level. He wrote a management guide called Awaken Your Genius. His business performance skills made him the founder of MBUintelligence, a Taylor made company that drives innovation through people skills and abilities.
Economist by trade, technologist by heart. Worked at PwC and as Investment Banker. Helped startups fundraise and blockchain companies to design token incentive models. Created 2 blockchain communities and co-founded TAIKAI, the ultimate hackathon platform.
